Transactional Associate

Our small, entrepreneurial Chicago-based law firm client (located in River North) is seeking a transactional associate to join their growing practice. Qualified candidates will have 3-4 years of corporate and real estate transactional experience, ideally, within a regulated area. This attorney will work one-on-one with the senior partner providing transactional services for beverage, alcohol and hospitality industry clients. Typical matters include representing buyers and sellers in commercial real estate closings; drafting and negotiating commercial leases; preparing distribution agreements for manufacturers and distributors; drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, including employment and management agreements; filing annual reports for corporations; and preparing trademark applications. Expected billables only 1,750. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded firm focusing on the hospitality industry.
