Our Chicago-based law firm client (under 200 attorneys) is seeking a transactional (non-controversy, non-patent) intellectual property associate to join their growing IP group. This attorney should have 1-3 years of experience in trademarks, copyrights, IT, data privacy, information governance, advertising and/or licensing. Only 1,900 billables. This is an ideal opportunity for a generalist IP attorney who wants to be part of a dynamic, entrepreneurial IP practice.

Intellectual Property And Information Technology Transactional Associate

Our Am Law 100 law firm client is seeking a well-credentialed attorney who has, ideally, 1-6 years of IP and technology transactions or other relevant experience. Associates in the IP Transactional group have the opportunity to work on a wide range of the transactions, including outsourcing (ITO and BPO), strategic alliances, joint ventures, software and systems (development and licensing), R&D and technology transfer, licensing (patent, trademark and copyright), biotechnology, Internet and eCommerce, M&A, financing and restructuring. This is a great opportunity to handle complex, challenging and diverse IP transactions while being part of one of the firm's largest and most respected practice areas.
