Employe Benefits And Executive Compensation Associate

The Chicago office of our Am Law 100 client is seeking an associate for its Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in advising private and public companies on executive compensation and employee benefits arrangements, including equity and cash-based incentive compensation programs and change in control and severance arrangements, and advising on compensation and benefits issues in corporate transactions. Candidates with corporate and tax backgrounds who are interested in practicing in employee benefits and executive compensation will be considered.

The Employee Benefits practice group of our national law firm client is seeking associates with 3-4 and 4-6 years of general employee benefits experience gained at a major law firm, accounting firm or consulting firm. Executive Compensation experience is a plus. Candidates must possess legal experience with qualified retirement and welfare benefit plans. This group is very collegial and committed to maintaining a strong quality of life/work balance for its associates.
