The Chicago office (under 30 attorneys) of our Am Law 100 firm client is seeking a patent litigation associate who has 3-5 years of experience litigating high tech cases involving telecommunication, software, hardware, wireless messaging, LCD screen or core search technology, and/or GPS vehicle navigation and other types of patent issues. The ideal candidate will have a science or engineering (electrical engineering or computer science degrees preferred) degree. Experience litigating in Section 337 proceedings at the International Trade Commission (“ITC”) is a plus. Admission to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is a plus, but not required. This attorney will work very closely with, and be mentored by, the firm’s national Patent Practice Chair, who is based in Chicago. This is a unique opportunity for a patent litigation attorney to work in a small, family friendly and welcoming office, and be mentored by a partner who is truly committed to ensuring your long-term career progress and success.
