Our litigation boutique client (under 40 attorneys) is seeking a well-credentialed (prefer top 25 law schools with honors and Law Review or law journal), Illinois bar admitted commercial litigation associate with 2-5 years of experience gained at a major law firm or highly regarded litigation boutique. You will take, defend and attend depositions, write briefs, draft and argue motions, draft pleadings, assist with trials and be thoroughly involved in all aspects of your files. Typical cases involve partnership, D&O liability (both plaintiff and defense), employment, securities, government investigations, intellectual property and commercial litigation (i.e. breach of contract, breach of warranty, etc.). This firm has a very collegial and collaborative culture, and offers its associates immediate hands-on experience.
