Search Options

Retained Search

  • 30% of the total guaranteed first year compensation.
  • The fee is due as follows: One-third (1/3) upon signing our contract and the commencement of the search; one-third (1/3) within 45 days; and one-third (1/3) on or before the candidate’s employment start date.
  • Chicago Legal Search, Ltd. will be the only source of candidates for this position.
  • On-point candidates will be presented within ten (10) business days of the commencement of the search.
  • Your search will take priority status over all exclusive and contingency searches.
  • Twelve (12) month pro-rata guarantee period.

Exclusive Search

  • 20% of the total guaranteed first year compensation.
  • The fee will be due within seven (7) days of the candidate’s employment start date.
  • Chicago Legal Search, Ltd. will be the only outside search firm utilized for this search and from whom candidate resumes may be accepted for a ninety (90) day period. You may continue your internal recruiting efforts.
  • On-point candidates will be presented within ten (10) business days of the commencement of the search.
  • Your search will take priority status over all contingency searches.
  • Six (6) month pro-rata guarantee period.

Contingency Search

  • 25% of the total guaranteed first year compensation.
  • The fee will be due on or before the candidate’s employment start date.
  • On-point candidates will be presented as soon as possible after they are identified.
  • Six (6) month pro-rata guarantee period.
