Our privately-owned, extremely entrepreneurial company located in Madison, WI is rapidly growing and seeking a well-credentialed (preferably, top third of class from a “Top 25” law school or top 10% from other law schools) attorney with at least five solid years of experience drafting and negotiating complex, sophisticated contracts. The typical contracts involve deals worth at least $30 million. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with software licensing and technology agreements. There is minimal travel (maybe 10-15% of the time during the year). This company offers very interesting work, a casual dress, informal corporate culture, the ability to be very involved with the business side, an extremely generous relocation package and excellent benefits. Our company client located in West Cook County is seeking an Illinois bar admitted attorney with at least 10 years of contract negotiating and drafting, and general corporate/commercial experience gained at a major international law firm or company. Any experience in labor, litigation or tax is a plus. This attorney will ensure the company’s operations in the U.S. and Canada comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and will manage outside counsel in litigation matters. Spanish speaking skills are required since this attorney will interact with the General Counsel based in the company’s international headquarters in Spain. Local attorneys will be given priority consideration as this company does not want to relocate anyone.
